A family friend recently went on a medical mission to the sub-Saharan nation of Togo, which borders the West African countries of Benin to the east, Ghana to the west, and Burkina Faso to the north, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south. Shown are scenes of a sunset and of a waterfalls in Togo (courtesy of SB).
The economy of Togo, whose capital is the city of Lome, is currently dependent mainly on agriculture, including cotton, coffee, and cocoa, and mining (ie, phosphate). Right now not so many people know much about this "hidden jewel", but with time on its side, the inherent natural beauty, and the perfect recipe of hospitality and progress, to go or not to Togo will definitely be an easy question to answer.
