To the locals of Camarines Sur province in the Philippines, Caramoan island has long been known as "paradise". But consistent with the wheels of progress, this natural beauty has become exposed so to speak, especially wihen the French version of the popular TV show "Survivor" used Caramoan as one of the show's settings. Parts of the Caramoan National Park include the Gota Beach section and the caves Big Gota and Little Gota.

Just to show how much Caramoan island has capitvated the crew of the show, some of them even considered staying  beyond the duration of the filming period.
