Enchanting Istanbul in Turkey is the most populous city of Europe and Turkey's financial and cultural center. Istanbul travel allows one to experience and appreciate the splendor and beatutiful architecture of the city's historic areas, some of which have also been included in UNESCO's World Heritage List. Among the masterpiece Istanbul attractions include the 6th-century Hagia Sophia (which was an Orthodox basilica, then a mosque, and now a museum), the ancient Hippodrome of Constantine, and the 16th century Suleymaniye Mosque. Other Istanbul attractions include the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace Museum.

Istanbul is strategically located on the Bosphorus peninsula between the Balkans and Anatolia, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, and has been associated with major historic (political, religious and artistic) events for more than 2 millennium.  It is hard not to be smitten by the enchanting charm of Istanbul travel, whether by plane or on a cruise.
