Imagine a perfect mix of snow-capped mountains, jagged rocks, green valleys, fogs and clouds, and fresh mountain air and the Bernese Oberland comes to mind. Located in the higher elevations of the canton of Bern in Switzerland, the Bernese Oberland offers several destinations, including Berner Oberland, Interlaken, Thunersee, Grindenwald, and Spiez among others.

Here is another spectacular Swiss Alps scene from Berner Oberland taken on a vacation by a young American tourist in 2007. Such scenery as viewed from the window of a mountain hostel perched strategically on the foothills of the towering Swiss Alps peaks can indeed provide the perfect setting for writing about the wonderful memories evoked by the awe-inspiring landscape. Aside of course on participating in winter sports and activities wearing while wearing  top men’s jackets & vests for skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering.
