US Virgin Islands: Irresistible as the Call of the Sea

The United States Virgin Islands (USVI), an organized, unincorporated territory of the US in the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, are renown for their white sandy beaches. The main isles comprising the Virgin Islands include St. Thomas (where the capital Charlotte Amalie is found), St. Croix (the largest), and St. John.

Tourism is the major driver of the economy of the Virgin Islands, with a good number of them visiting by way of cruises (eg, honeymoon cruise or family cruises).  Some of the popular attractions include the beaches at Magens Bay and Trunk Bay, Crow Mountain, and several national parks or monuments.  With the Virgin Islands attractions being as irresistible as the call of the sea, a Virgin Islands vacation is definitely something worth planning for.
