Chicago: World-class Windy City

The city of Chicago, the "Windy City", is Illinois' and the Midwest's largest metropolis. Chicago, a world-class city, is located on the southwest portion of Lake Michigan and has 2 rivers - the Chicago and the Calumet Rivers. With the election of former Illinois senator Barack Obama to the US presidency, Chicago is expected to be rejuvenated not just in terms of politics but in other aspects as well.

Dotting Chicago's skylines are among America's tallest buildings, including the Sears Tower and the John Hancock Center. Chicago has made a bid to host the 2016 Olympics.

A YouTube video clip on Chicago's candidacy as city host for the 2016 Olympic Games, with background music that includes the theme from the Pirates of the Caribbean and the regular Olympic music fanfare, is shown.
